Join Us for a Lower School Service Project - Friday, February 28

The Bush Lower School Service Club’s next session will focus on food insecurity and will be helping Lake City Partners. Our little hands will make sandwiches and assemble sack lunches which will go to Aurora Oaks, an enhanced shelter in Shoreline serving a population of sixty residents. All Lower School students students are invited to participate. 

Join us on Friday, February 28 from 2:30-4:00 in the Bush Commons for the Service Club Event. We will discuss the challenges of food insecurity and assemble all of the sack lunches. We will write notes of encouragement for patrons of Lake City Partners. Parents, if available, you are invited to participate! Sign up here - we need to limit to twenty students but will have a waitlist.

Lake City Partners ends homelessness one person at a time by building individual relationships that accompany people on their journey – from tent to front door. For nearly 20 years, Lake City Partners have been providing shelter and supportive services in the North Seattle/King County area. Today, they are part of a network of non-profit providers, funders, and government agencies working to help people exit homelessness and enter housing in a resilient, sustainable way. Our shared approach prioritizes a housing first, low-barrier approach that is data driven and focused on equitable outcomes.
