Join Middle School Chess Club! Spaces Still Available

Interested in learning more about Chess or improving your game? Join the after-school Middle School Chess Club! Email Middle School Director Rob Blackwell or Middle School Dean of Students Jessica Osorio to join. 

The Chess Club will be taught by local chess coach Georgi Orlov. Georgi earned a four-year degree in Chess Education in 1985 and has been working with many junior players since. He has been organizing and teaching Summer Chess camps in the Seattle area since 1995. As an Executive Director of the Chess Mates Foundation, Georgi also organizes after-school chess programs in Seattle area schools.

CHESS CLUB SCHEDULE
Time: Every Thursday (when classes are in session)
Date: 4:00-5:00 p.m. 
Location: MS Classroom 17

The club is open to all Middle School students (Sixth-Eighth Grade) and there is no charge to participate.
