Bush Boys XC Captures 2nd at 1A State Championships

What a way to finish to the season. At the 1A WIAA State Cross Country Championships held on Saturday, November 9 at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco, the Bush boys team captured second place with 62 points. The team was led by Duncan F.-S. '25 third place finish in 15:51, almost a minute faster than year ago. Teammate Benjamin H.  '25 was also in the top 10, placing seventh (16:15.6), a time 55 seconds faster than last year at the meet. In total, the Blazers placed four runners in the top 26. Cedar Park Christian of Bothell was the top finisher in the state with 49 points. 
 
 
In the girls 1A race, Elise F. '25 finished off an impressive season with a sixth place finish, clocking 19:17.1, an improvement by nearly three minutes from last year. As a team, the Blazer placed 11th overall. Cedar Park Christian of Bothell also won the girls state title.
